before i enabled force server url settings in server settings i was using an .htaccess file with this code:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !on
RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
to redirect http:// to https://
i just enabled the setting and noticed it redirects to https automatically now, do i still keep the redirect in my .htaccess file or is it no longer needed?
