Well SSI I couldn't agree more. As for the link you included in one of your posts as the migration path to use to get to 3.3.11 I had already been there and performed many of the tasks. One of which is the requirement to use British English language pack as the only pack and so here we are back to square one. The British language pack still not set as default and the language screen still shows American English as well and the Board Settings screen show Header Banner settings. Wow....

My gut feelings are to scrap the entire board and start fresh as though there were no board. Complete fresh install. But, I don't know the impact of that. There is more than 200mb of data base with posts going back to 2010 with more than 72,000 posts. Can one install and bring in a data base that was last used in conjunction with phpBB3 3.2.5. Not to mention all of the configuration settings required in ACP.

I could visit each page in ACP and take methodical screen shots of the existing settings to facilitate a new install.

Please let me know your thoughts of a complete install instead of an upgrade.

Yours,

John
