My site is currently being hosted with ipage but I am not very happy with their service and plan to change this summer when my subscription expires. The domain is also registered with them. I plan on switching the domain registry to Porkbun (as I read it's safer to have domain registry and hosting at different places) and website hosting will most likely go to A2.
My question is: To limit potential problems and site downtime, should I,
A) Transfer site and domain hosting to A2, then transfer the domain registry to Porkbun.
B) Transfer the domain registry to Porkbun first, then hosting to A2.
C) Just transfer everything to A2 and keep the domain registry with them as well.
Thank you for your input as this will be the first time I am transferring my board to new hosting and not very knowledgeable about the process.
